Whats the BEST advice your mother ever gave you?

On my wedding day my prim and proper mother gave me a little advice and she said'; If u want a long and happy marriage you must be a lady in the living room and a wild cat in the bedroom'; !!!!! I couldnt believe my sweet mother said it but she did and she was RIGHT!Whats the BEST advice your mother ever gave you?
Wow, cool mom. Anyways the best advice my mom said to me was ';You have to act a certain way to get ahead in life, don't be a shadow in the background, be upfront and people will notice you.'; Very good advice I think.Whats the BEST advice your mother ever gave you?

i use to like this boy, who was heavily premiscuous...and i thought that he really liked me for me, and would stop doing all that stuff...but turns out, he treated me like all the others....so my mom told me after that ';YOU cant turn a hoe into a houseWIFE';...never forgot it.
