Artists? whats your best advice?

I've recently changed my major from art to film.


However, I still want to do my art....but should I even bother? Can I still exhibit work and such? Do you have any ideas or input? Thank you...I will really appreciate and take in all responses.Artists? whats your best advice?
You don't need to go to school to be an artist. You can still do art and do displays and shows - it just takes a little more effort on your part to line things up on your own.
