Survey: What's the BEST advice you've ever received?

From my father, who suffers guilt over everything, he once told me ';Guilt is a negative emotion, it serves no purpose';. The other bit of advice I learned from a Christian TV channel ';Suffering is inevitable, misery is optional';.
