I personally don't like it when people try to give me advice when I don't ask for it.





you should probably wait until someone asks you for advice, or gives you an opportunity to say something helpful.





giving someone advice without them asking could come off as being controling or criticizing.


my parents try to tell me they're giving me ';advice';, but I never ask for it, therefore they are coming off more as controling and critical than anything.





plus your advice could hurt someones feelings, always take the safe route and wait until they ask you. be considerate of how they feel.
