Avoid goodman brand equipment... it is the cheapest and crappiest around... go with a carrier, trane, ruud, rheem... also the first answerer is right in saying SEER is more important then price... you should try and get the highest SEER model that u can afford, as this will save u alot of money on the elecric bill in the long run.I am looking to replace a heat pump, any advice to who has the best for the price?
Price is not always the issue. SEER rating is important as well. Goodman Co. has a good heat pump with a 13 or 14 SEER rating and has a lifetime warranty on most, if not all, of its components. You will pay more for a higher rating, but you will save money every month with a higher rating.
