older people have lived through a lot and know themselves very well. so they're a lot more secure. they really KNOW their faults and attributes already, so it doesn't matter much to them what other ppl say.





younger ppl on the other hand don't have much of a sense of who they are, so many of them tend to have more insecurities about themselves. so if someone comes along and insults them, they will be hurt cause deep down they wonder if the insult is true.Who don't most old people care about other as much as young people? 10 points for the best advice. From an evolutionarly perpective, young people are driven by hormones to mate, so that means putting on the best attitude, clothes, etc in order to increase mating chances.





Hormones in older people die down, so they don't have as much as an urge to mate, so they don't have to care as much.
go back to high school.....you know not of what you speak
Are you English? or illiterate ? Learn to form a sentence in a readable manner before attempting to judge people that have more knowledge and wisdom than you by the fact they've been on this planet longer,
With time and age you realize it does not matter what others think about you as much as how you feel about yourself.





To many people waste time worrying about what others might think.





When you die you can't take with you what you have, or what other people think. All you take with you is who you are, what you've done and how you have affected other peoples lives.





So we should all pack all our worries in the same suit case we take with us to the grave and leave it there. In a hundred years from now those worries won't matter anymore.
We do care my dear young person. But when one has lived for a long time, one must change their passion or die of over sensitivity. One must use those years to weigh up the present hardships against the long term benefits and one must be careful to not give too much enthusiasm to the passions of youth which are short lived and so often lost in the ever changing world of young people.


No my dear Old people do care, but our most earnest desires are projected into the future in dreams hopes and children.........we hope to build for them the sort of world where they will have fewer times of trouble than we have had to get here.
old people have lived so long and gone through so much they dont get btohered by it. they noe its not something to stress out over why should they bothr?
When you get older, events don't matter as much as they used to. You been there done that and your bored out of your mind.


The old folks have more smarts then they let on. They have done their time let them do as they please.
Older people don't need to impress people anymore. They've learned what all young people will eventually. They know what really matters in life - and its not what other people think of you.





They're secure and confident in themselves, and they realise worrying about what others think is pointless.





Being, happy and comfortable and productive in their own lives, is too important to sacrafice in fear of what others will think.





Unfortunately I think thats something we all could learn a lot earlier in life.
because old people have less in life and they wont be living very long so they dont want to sit around and be depressed about hat epoeple say and waste life that will be needed. And young poeple are young and they have moe life to live now im not sayin there not wasting life they are but they have soo much more life to live and more things to exspreience. and plus who do old people have to impress
Because the older you get the less you try to impress people and you really don't care what other people think about you. Just wait sweetie your day will come when you won't care either.
