At my granddaughter's wedding, the DJ polled the guests to see who had been married longest. It turned out to be my husband and I. The DJ asked us, ';What advice would you give to the newly-married couple?';
I said, ';The three most important words in a marriage are, 'You're probably right.'';
Everyone then looked at my husband. He said, ';She's probably right.';Is this the best advice to a newly married couple?
ha ha ha, must get him to remember that, pmslIs this the best advice to a newly married couple?
Sounds good. I was only married for 19 years as my wife died. But, I would say that 3 important words should be:
Learn how to argue! (Oh that is four)
Do not be selfish (oops four again)
Respect (darn one word)
But there are three things... there are a lot more..
Keep going with your marriage, it stinks to be alone and when you get older there aren't a lot of good choices out there for starting over again with some else. Not impossible but very hard.
The answer to every question or request should be ';yes, dear';. remember your partner is your friend, not your property; marriage shouldn't change the way you think about the person.
Lol good advice =]
yes i agree lol
At my cousin's wedding it was
';Once a king, always a king, once a queen, always a queen, but once a knight is enough!';
hahahaha spousal diplomacy
Yes yes and yes.........
you are right because agreement is the best way to avoid fighting
hahaha very good.
