What's the best advice for someone who is struggling with a sin?

PRAY day and night without ceasing. It is helpful if you confide in another Christian that they might also pray for you. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Have a great evening. I will say a prayer for you this evening, also.

Prayer of course. Man is nothing without God. Pray for strength to leave the sin and understanding and guidence never to return to it. The woman caught in adultury, Jesus told her to ';go and sin no more';. From that day on she followed Christ faithfully!
I've struggled with sin all of my life (of a sexual nature), just shrugging it off as being human. When you start to think ';well if I die tomorrow I'll go to Hell for my sins'; then you are on your way to defeating sin, well as best as you can. I guess you need to acknowledge that you are sinning, then you need to ask the Lord for forgivness and then be on your guard and not slip into that sin again.


Life holds many temptations and it's easier to give into them but we must remember that in the end this life ends and we all must stand before God and be judged (yes all you atheists too).

Allow God to forgive you, and then work on trying to forgive yourself. He forgives much more easily than we do so that will be the hardest part.
To pray and fellowship your struggles and sins to people you know. Brothers and sisters. They may be able to help. However, it is good to tell people that you have a struggle in life and with this, others may be able to grow in faith.
If it's just sex, the best thing is to give in. But for God's sake use a condom.

It is difficult to imagine you are forgiven, if you have not forgiven yourself.





God IS Love... God is all ways God..


Therefore it is impossible for God not to love..





It is possible to IMAGINE that you are not loved or forgiven, but that doesn't make it so.


It may however effect the experience of ';you';.





Love is a GIFT..... is not something you have to EARN.





Forgiveness is to GIVE BEFORE it is asked.....

It depends on the sin. If a serious one, ask for help. If less serious just try to get past it. sin is apart of life. i6t happends, dont stress too much. If it's bothering you that much go to your priest or preacher.
The best advice is to keep practicing the sin until you become an expert at it.

We all are. The best new is that God loves us, and Jesus died for all of our sins.
First, stop ';struggling';. Now ask yourself ';who am I' %26amp; be very still %26amp; listen. This may take years of practise but the answer will amazed you. Of course you can ';believe'; anything you want, but you really want to ';know'; don't you?

Join other sinners struggling with their sin. It's called a church.
Find out what are the core causes of that sin. Find out when/where and why they are tempted with that sin. And try to have them avoid those situations and replace those times with more God honoring activities.
Practice, practice, practice then you can get that sinnin' right.
Don't give up. . Ask for forgiveness and try again. Seek God for the strength to overcome it.
