What is the best advice .........?

you want to give yourself in this time of recession. What is the best advice .........?
Apart from cutting corners to save money here and there, this is the best time to evaluate your Professional qualifications and acquire higher ones,if needed, specially by people who have lost their jobs.Try and make yourself more employable as many Business practices and industry norms change along with recovery from the recession.Similar excercise is required by people who have their own business.Remember, after recovery from recession, things are never going to be same. What is the best advice .........?
Frankly, I feel we should not advice. For instance, if I am smoking and I give advice to the younger generation not to smoke, it becomes meaningless. Instead, what I feel is we should practice, we should exhibit, we should demonstrate in our day to day life so that others can copy us. Then our real intension and motive gets truly exposed and understood.

These days people generally mis-understand easily, if we try to teach them or advice them. Instead, we should silently behave well. That is all. That is the best advice.
Emptiness makes space for new ideas.

Every once in a while, there's a forest fire, but the desolation and destruction caused can be a good thing because it's nature's way of replenishing itself and starting anew.

Big changes can take place when all the known avenues have been exhausted and we are forced to be creative. So, to stay hopeful, on the look-out, open-minded, and try to make those changes for the best.
Be inactive if your profession is in recession. Analyze market. Wait for change. Till then be active in Y/A

This is not applicable for Govt servants.
I would tell myself to listen to me.

Put more value on everything. Think of a dollar as if it were ten dollars, use less of everything and take care of what I have.
I feel that great lessons can be learned right now, and I am grateful that I am young enough to learn early in life that materialism and an identification with it is not my true self :)
be frugal....enjoy simple things like scented candles and dinners out with coupons....always consider the feelings of others.
iv been poor for 30 years ,is there a recession?

keep pushing on relentlessly
Be thankful every day....and find ways to help make sure that the company is successful...for everyone that works there.
Try to survive with minimum things possible
LIVE %26amp;LET LIVE !
do not run after the material things you do not have.needy is 100% better than a greedy. thanks.
Focus on what I do have, and be grateful for it :)
