I've been helping my crush with her grades in a class and she seems very grateful. Today, she said ';you are my new best friend';. she has a boyfriend though.





What did she mean by this?





Does she want to get closer?

Ummmm most girls say that when u help them out or do something for them. happens all the time. There may be some future for you with her if 1. she breaks up wif her bf. 2. u 2 hang out Alot more. and 3 if she breaks up with her bf. Mainly right now ur just gona be friends but if u pursue there could me more in the distant future.Any advice would be amazing 10 points best answer?

When you're in a girls friend zone thats it! The only way you gonna be able to get out of it is if you do something absolutely ground breaking, which is very unlikely.





The way women grade men is that they put you in a category. You either fit into the ';potential mate'; category or ';friend'; category.





If i was you i'd just move on and stay away. Don't stay friends. Be aquaintences. You'll just hurt yourself as you'll always hope that one day she'll return your feelings and you'll forever be flirting with her.





Try and be more straight in your intentions next time. Don't let her think that you're ok just staying friends.
Dude, give it up. This is a death sentence for guys. once you are her ';best friend'; it is almost impossible to be anything different. she will look at you like her brother. Best thing to do if you are into this girl is just be straight up and tell her that you want more. If you do go on as her friend then do not expect anything more ever. This sounds funny but trust me it is true, girls do not want a guy who is always there when they need them. Girls like self confidence and a challenge, this is why the biggest jerks get the best girls.
I guess in theory there's a CHANCE.





But in reality, she has a boyfriend now. This really means you should try not to think of any signs of her liking you like that in any way and leave them be as a couple. Unless she does something very very obvious, it's best to just not think about how she likes you too much, feel good that you're both good friends!
I think she simply meant that she's very thankful for your help and wants to hang out with you more and become better friends.





I know it's not the answer you probably want but I think you are over looking things as far as if she wants to get closer or if she likes you more then a friend.

I say that a lot. When I say it I mean, ';thanks, your totally awesome'; I would say that its doubtful she likes you more than a friend, but you never know. Try flirting with her more while you help her out. And if you see any more signs from her, maybe ask her if she wants to do something sometime. Good luck.
